Abstract
The concept of quality of is a re-conceptualized response that considers well-being to be dependent not only on material aspects but also on human values. The study of public policies must be sensitive to the political contexts within which they are formulated and implemented, as a policy is not independent of the context and the historical time in which it is developed. Quality of life research results, can make a significant contribution to finding solutions to social problems and for policy making, and this requires a close examination of the key role of the different actors interacting in the process.
