Abstract

Radial head fractures are the most common skeletal injuries of the adult elbow, affecting young and active individuals aged 20–60 years. Radial head fracture is generally associated with injury to the coronoid process or the capitulum and with some degree of soft tissue trauma affecting the origin of the medial and/or lateral ligament. This chapter describes the common injury patterns, the clinical presentation and diagnostic tests, diagnostic imaging and the treatments
