Abstract
Interdisciplinary instruction is a collective term and involves different types of instruction in which two or more subjects are combined. In addition, interdisciplinary instruction is often demanded in the context of school because it has many advantages. Although the effect of lessons or course offerings that combine subjects on students’ learning has been tested, no study has yet examined students’ opinions. In the present study, 19 students were asked how they define interdisciplinary instruction, what advantages they see, and why they had registered for a project week with interdisciplinary topics. The results indicate that they all had a correct idea of the concept of interdisciplinary instruction. They also mentioned some of the advantages, and they would also like to see more interdisciplinary teaching or course offerings.
