Abstract

A simple model accounting for entailments between sentential predicates with propositional attitude verbs is proposed. In this model no reference to propositions is made. Sentential predicates denote specific sets of sentences (of a given natural language). This approach avoids the problem of intensionality of propositional attitude operators and permits to use many tools from the generalised quantifier theory.
