Abstract
When viewing an ECG, the rate, rhythm, and axis are all important characteristics to identify. These factors in conjunction with intervals can often be helpful in identifying the underlying cardiac pathology. ECG characteristics for atrial abnormalities, atrioventricular (AV) block, bundle branch block (BBB), and ventricular hypertrophy have identifiable ECG characteristics, which will be discussed below.
