Regional Nerve Blocks in Anesthesia and Pain Therapy

Abstract

Forefoot pain can be debilitating and limit mobility and activity. Two common sources of forefoot pain are metatarsophalangeal joint pathology and Morton’s neuroma. Office-based imaging-guided procedures can treat pain from the MTP joint and Morton’s neuroma. We aim to outline common nonsurgical pain procedures used to treat forefoot pain due to these etiologies.
