Abstract
This chapter deals with selected easily accessible road traverses across the Kachchh Basin. Each traverse includes several stops to visit important outcrops and to quickly examine the lithological characteristics of the rock outcrops. These traverses are planned from west to east, starting from Bhuj, covering all the formations of the Mesozoic to Tertiary stratigraphic succession. Very useful for conducting field excursions/visits for graduate and post-graduate students of geoscience discipline and also can be interesting for the visitors to explore the basin from geotourism point of view.
