Abstract

This chapter describes the medicinal plants, ready-to-use preparations and base oils referred to in Chap. 6, Indications. Each substance is presented through a fact sheet which includes the classification, origin, composition, a brief overview of its tradition as a remedy, effects, range of use, external forms of application, and contraindications. Finally, various finished preparations and their supply sources are mentioned.
