Abstract
This contribution aims to explore the connections between the Transformative Learning Theory and the Actor Network Theory (ANT). Starting from a different theoretical framework, the two perspectives can be compared in their core concepts: meanings and materiality, individuals and practices, emancipation rather than power. This analysis could improve a deep understanding of transformational processes as sociomaterial phenomena.
