Percutaneous Nephrostomy

Abstract

Percutaneous nephrostomy catheter placement is a minimally invasive procedure in which a small catheter is inserted into the renal pelvis, typically to relieve urinary obstruction or to provide access for other procedures. This is performed using either ultrasound and/or fluoroscopic guidance.
