Abstract
Given the situation where construction of smart city is considered as a significant topic in China nowadays, research on innovation of planning technology regarding spatial system development of smart city is necessary. Starting from basic analysis, qualitative and quantify method are combined to clarify the interaction of knowledge and ecology, to strengthen the understanding of core requirement for smart city and to recognize knowledge as a key element; based on that, the notions of virtual space, knowledge space and ecological space are put forward from a brand new angle. Then, a model is conducted with DICEF concept to discuss the adaptation of innovation in spatial planning; Besides, the model is supposed to be applied in practice of Guangzhou Knowledge City for the purpose of providing feasible spatial strategy and promoting the development of the city.

Relativity Saliences of 4 types of verification procedure in SAS multiple statistical analysis are < 0.0001, 0.0003, < 0.0001, < 0.0001. According to international standard, salience is high when Pr > F value is under 5%, which means that the linear relationship between core characteristics index of knowledge city and that of ecology city is highly significant.
