Abstract
This chapter presents methods for fungi and plants infected with fungi analysis using epi-fluorescence (EFM) and laser scanning confocal microscopy (LSM). Here are included fluorochrome-based methods for evidencing fungi structures as well as cell wall and nuclei, besides reactive oxygen species and cellular death staining. Plant dyes examples important for fungi-plant interaction studies and autofluorescent structures for certain fungi are shown.
