Abstract
In this chapter, we offer the surgeon good direction about how to prepare a patient once he is put to sleep in the operating room in order to offer the first better conditions for a better outcome. We begin by the patient’s positioning, which in our case is a supine one. Then, we explain how the lower limbs are stabilized in order to have a better exposure. The different portals widely used are also addressed in this chapter in addition to some tips and tricks that we found useful in our daily procedures. Next, we describe the several steps and components to be explored before every arthroscopic surgery.
