Abstract
Pylink is a library for interfacing with EyeLink eye trackers in Python. This chapter gives a brief introduction to video-based eye tracking and the various features and functions of the Pylink library. A basic script is used to walk through the typical protocol of an eye-tracking experiment. This chapter ends with a working example script for a free-viewing task and a brief discussion on error and exception handling.
