Abstract
Foreign body ingestions are common in children. The majority have good outcomes with very little morbidity and mortality. However, there are potential risks involved that could lead to poor outcomes. The diagnosis and management are different depending on whether it is an airway foreign body or a gastrointestinal tract foreign body. In this chapter, we will present the management and treatment for each type of foreign body ingestion.
