Innovative Renewable Waste Conversion Technologies

Abstract

Currently, the daily increase in the requirements of fossil fuels such as diesel oil, coal or natural gas is obvious, but at the same time we also witness their excessive consumption. Awareness of the energy and environmental problems associated with the burning of fossil fuels, as well as the need to find other alternatives that meet the growing demand for energy in the world, has encouraged the research for new alternative fuels. The research aims at developing a capitalization method for animal fat waste from the leather industry, by analyzing a combustion technology of mixtures made up of this waste and liquid hydrocarbon.
