Innovative Renewable Waste Conversion Technologies

Abstract

Environmental impact and risk assessment during the implementation phase of large-scale projects in the renewable energy field is a key issue. This chapter shows the specifics in the environmental aspect of the introduction of cogeneration plants through biomass gasification, as well as the significant possible risks in the introduction of such large-scale power plants. The significance of the risk is presented in matrix form, as well as the actions for its reduction are indicated.
