Abstract
Previously regarded as a section of the genus Eria, it was restored to generic status as Conchidium in 2012 but in 2018 some species in the genus were removed from Conchidium and placed in the genus Porpax or transferred to Pinalia. There are15 species in the genus distributed from India to continental Southeast Asia and with one each in Borneo and China (Odyuo et al. 2019) in montane forests. Eight species occur in India (Odyuo et al. 2019). Plants are dwarf, often forming dense, matted colonies on trees or rocks. Pseudobulb has a single node, oblong, discoid or globose and flat, in some reticulate, carrying one to four terminal, lanceolate or obovate leaves that are almost sessile. Inflorescence is terminal, with one or few white, pale green, yellow or red flowers.
