Abstract

This book looks at the issues around managing the boom bust cycles in a small petroleum-exporting economy. The literature on the boom bust petroleum cycle is large both empirically and theoretically. This book focuses on the empirical experience of a small exporter Trinidad and Tobago and emphasizes the economic history in the crude oil production, oil refining and natural gas sector.
