A Tool for Determining e-Learning Readiness

Abstract

The use of e-Learning continues to grow and has now become a necessary component of training budgets. e-Learning has been adopted mainly to keep organizations competitive. Furthermore, COVID-19 forced the movement of learning activities online. For organizations thinking of using e-Learning, and for those who have already implemented it, it is necessary to sidestep the pitfalls of e-Learning. The tool described in this book emerged as the artifact of design and development research. This chapter introduces the book with a brief analysis of why organizations adopt e-Learning, followed by an outline of the chapters within the book.
