Abstract
It is 2020, an auspicious year and the dawn of a new decade that has been birthed amid worldwide upheaval. The world has witnessed unprecedented ravaging fires, devastating floods, political carnage, revolts of the masses and crumbling, corrupt institutions have previously provided us with the firm foundations we thought were needed to progress through our precious lives. Then, there was the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the severe economic consequences of lockdown and a worldwide call to confront racism spurred on by multiple incidences of senseless violence and racism in the United States. There is a feeling that these very real events are also symbolic representations of the intense change that is upon all of us.
