Abstract
Operative cholangiograms performed during laparoscopic cholecystectomy may identify anomalies of the biliary system in order to reduce the incidence of ductal injury. The use of these techniques may disclose extravasation of contrast agents that indicate ductal injuries. Once identified, these injuries may be corrected if appropriate surgical skill sets are available.
