Abstract

Hyper competition in the digital era adds more challenges and complexity to value creation in business operations. Running the operations’ transactions in real-time probably will decrease the transactions’ lead-time, increase the transactions’ accuracy and lower the cost. The BLE Beacon technology provides a noticeable chance for enhancing operations’ performance. It uses advanced Bluetooth capabilities to provide source automation features that improve information sharing ability among users. As a new generation of Information Systems, Intelligent Information Systems use artificial intelligence agents to simulate real-time transactions. When we integrate the BLE Beacon Technology with IIS, we provide IIS with required information in real-time and intelligence agents’ auto-communication capability. In this paper, BLE Beacon Technology with Intelligent Information Systems structure is proposed to enhance the retail industry’s operations’ performance.
