Abstract

As discussed in Chap. 2, the climate system consists of five major components: the atmosphere (air), the hydrosphere (water), the cryosphere (ice), the land surface (lithosphere) and the biosphere (organisms), and the interactions between and among them.

The bad news is that if we do in fact get off the Earth we will contaminate the rest of the universe with our moral insufficiency.
