Abstract

Health disparities impacting those with schizophrenia spectrum illnesses also affect reproductive health. This chapter will explore issues unique to those growing their families while living with these severe and persistent mental illnesses (SPMI), framed in a reproductive health perspective.

Note that postpartum psychosis, which is generally associated with affective disturbance, is discussed in Chap. 12.
