Abstract
There are many types of normal and abnormal breathing. Evaluation of respiratory patterns helps the clinician to understand the current physiological state of the patient. Abnormal breathing patterns indicate the possibility of the underlying injury or metabolic disorders. Early recognition of abnormal respiratory patterns may help the clinician during the early intervention to prevent further deterioration of the patient’s condition.
