Abstract
In patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation and cancer, anticoagulation is challenging given the fact that many cancer patients also suffer from thrombocytopenia, with higher risk of bleeding and also increased risk of thromboembolic events.
Furthermore, decision about rate vs rhythm control is not always easy and sometimes is quite challenging. In this chapter, you will find the answer to common clinical questions in this setting.
