Abstract

This article from Landesinitiative Ernährungswirtschaft (LI Food) aims to provide an introduction to the LI Food initiative and discusses the importance and structure of the food industry. The agricultural and food industries face a number of challenges directly or indirectly related to rural mobility. Here we will discuss some of these, with the aim of outlining the potential for developing sustainable mobility concepts.
