Abstract
Peripheral arterial emergencies include acute or critical arterial stenosis/occlusion, thrombosis, distal embolization, traumatic lesions and development of an aneurysm/pseudoaneurysm. Endovascular treatments consist of either recanalization of the occluded segment, thrombolysis, thrombectomy or deployment of a stent graft in cases of aneurysm/pseudoaneurysm. The different cases in this chapter describe various peripheral arterial emergencies treated endovascularly.
