Abstract

A broad chapter, questions focus on a broad-spectrum of rehabilitation topics from bracing, therapy, and thermal modalities to disability and workman’s compensation. Disability determination and workman’s compensation knowledge are often omitted from formal education and many physicians therefore find this aspect of care difficult. Similarly, knowledge of modalities used commonly in physical and occupational therapy are not taught though understanding of these areas can help providers guide treatments and understand treatment plans laid out by therapists.
