Abstract

Self-evaluation is an essential component of the learning process. This chapter is a compilation of evaluation questions. It addresses the contents of the previous ten chapters of the book and is complementary to their end open-questions. It mainly comprises multiple-choice, true and false and closed-ended questions, about calving and obstetrical management, technical procedures and calf care. Theoretical and practical topics, some of them supported by pictures, are addressed. Practitioners, surgeons, academics and students were asked to contribute to this final evaluation task. We carefully selected those questions aiming to identify the most significant points so as to prepare veterinary and animal production students, as well as farmers and stockpersons, in calving management, calf-care and other related aspects. This self-evaluation exercise is also an opportunity for veterinarians and other habilitated professionals to test their knowledge in this area. Readers can additionally download the free Springer Nature Flashcards App to benefit from the 77 study questions in digital form and track their interactive learning process.
