Abstract
Drugs that induce oral bleeding are numerous. They affect hemostasis thus increasing the risk of perioperative oral bleeding. Drug-induced bleeding may be a dangerous complication during and after oral surgery. Nonetheless, dento-alveolar surgery can often be done without modifying the antithrombotic treatment since drug substitution is less and less recommended. Special attention should however be given to patients taking Direct Oral Anticoagulants.
