Drug-Induced Oral Complications

Abstract

Drug-induced oral ulcers may be unique or multiple and are usually painful. They vary in localization, depth and extent depending on the direct or indirect action of the drug incriminated. In any case, malignant etiology must be systematically investigated and ruled out. Toxidermia is a serious life-threatening extreme form of adverse drug effect whose inaugural manifestation can be represented by ulcers in the oral mucosa.
