Abstract
This chapter introduces the most important fundamental terms and the basic physical principles of electrical engineering. The use of important parameters, such as energy and power in the electrical circuit, is examined, as is resistance as a central component of electrical circuits. This establishes the prerequisites for calculations for electrical circuits, which are used, for example, in signal processing. Finally, ohmic resistance is presented as the most important element of electrical circuits. Among other things, this is used for the analysis of electrical networks, which the next chapter deals with.
