Abstract
Pelvic floor dysfunction can significantly affect a woman’s life in a negative way. Concerns about leakage of urine, lack of lubrication, lack of sexual desire, painful sex and a pelvic organ prolapse can make daily life difficult and wanting to be intimate with their partner low priority.
This chapter will discuss some of the strategies which women may have tried to improve or maintain their sex life and improve their pelvic floor issues before seeking professional help.
