Abstract
This chapter presents a summary of the aims, goals, methodologies and findings of the book chapters and summarizes the research questions of the study. It presents translation practice as a laboratory context manifesting the workings of im/politeness across languages and cultures, where different values of variables may reshape the manifestations of im/politeness.
