Abstract

One of the things that characterize pop and rock music is that most sound sources have to be reinforced (amplified). This is either because the initial balance between the different instruments’ acoustic sounds is problematic (especially in small venues) or because a too-low sound level leads to the sound not being engaging for the public (larger venues).
