Abstract
One of the major goals of this study was to understand what factors helped women to succeed versus decede in academic STEM settings. As such, an interview question probed healthy versus unhealthy work environments, and participants shared how academic deans, chairs, and administrations can create spaces that either support or hinder professional growth.
