Abstract
The study presented in this research consists in the evaluation and re-novation of the online platform Reuma.pt, at the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) level. The main objective is to design a solution that ensures efficient interaction of users, healthcare professionals, with this online platform. The fulfillment of this goal will help healthcare professionals in the treatment process of their rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. Reuma.pt serves to electronically record the clinical process of the rheumatic patient. This site is part of a national coverage plan, and is prepared to be used in real time by the healthcare professional during the patient’s observation, and for follow-up. This article focuses on the first phase of the study, which consisted of UX benchmarking work for the analysis of online digital solutions directed at the follow-up or treatment of AR disease. This analysis aims to evaluate the main existing solutions in order to study relevant solutions that contribute to this study.
