Abstract

Arguments that fundamental quantum theory should not be based on classical mathematics (involving the notions of infinitely small/large, continuity etc.) and on the notion of space-time background. Mathematical criterion when one physical theory is more general than another. Comparisons of classical versus quantum theory, nonrelativistic versus relativistic quantum theory and the latter versus de Sitter invariant quantum theory.
