Abstract

The paper deals with the issues of international trade as the main indicator of the state open economy. The authors proved that international trade is an integral part of the country in the age of economic globalization and affects the global economy development. International trade characterizes the country’s foreign economic activity. The research on international trade is based on the comparison and statistical methods, and mathematical analysis. The main indicators of international trade, such as trade exports and imports, as well as changes in the country’s external turnover, were analyzed. The structure of trade exports was studied. Promising areas of Russia’s foreign economic activity were identified. The authors of the paper considered the GDP dynamics at purchasing power parity and analyzed the volume of net exports in relation to GDP.
