Abstract

In 2009, I began my investigation of performing stem cell surgery for untreatable, potentially blinding, retina and optic nerve conditions. Following an extensive literature search, I located a clinic in Dusseldorf, Germany, that was performing retrobulbar injections of BMSC to treat age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
