Abstract
In his study of the Differential Effects of Proliferation, Matthew Kroenig defines power projection as a state’s “ability to fight a full-scale, conventional, military, ground war on the territory of a potential target state,” and argues the “ability to bomb a state alone without a corresponding ability to put boots on the ground in that state’s territory is not a sufficient power-projection capability”.
