Abstract
Parenting is one of the most important and rewarding roles you can have, yet it comes with many challenges—it is not an innate skill. It is widely recognised that parenting contributes significantly to children’s development, learning and achievement. Consequently, the UK Government provided funding for the nationwide delivery of parenting programmes to increase positive parental engagement with their child and their child’s education, with the ultimate goal of improving the life chances of children and young people.
