Abstract
Arteriovenous malformation hemangioma is a benign vascular lesion. This entity is recognized by the World Health Organization but not by the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies, which prefers to keep distinguished the arteriovenous malformations (characterized by the presence of arteriovenous shunts) from hemangiomas (where the shunts are absent).
