Abstract

TMT consists of a maximal resection of the bladder, followed by a concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy, limiting salvage radical cystectomy to non-responder tumours or muscle-invasive recurrence (Mathieu et al., Curr Opin Urol 25:476–482, 2015). This chapter is an introduction to trimodal therapy in bladder cancer.
