Abstract

This chapter introduces the topic of sustainable entrepreneurship and illustrates the purpose of the volume. As a first step, the chapter provides a definition of what sustainable entrepreneurship is (and is not), particularly shedding light on the possible overlaps with similar sub-fields of entrepreneurship, such as social entrepreneurship and green (or eco or environmental) entrepreneurship research. Then, the chapter outlines the contents of each chapter of the volume.
