Abstract
Your patient needs a definitive airway and you have prepared your patient and yourself. Now it is time to prepare your team. Intubation is a team sport with a playbook that changes depending on the situation. Any team member not on board with the plan could lead the team to a loss. And, once the tube is in, and verified, do not forget to thank your team. Everyone’s role is equally important and the best team leaders make sure their team members know that.
