Abstract
In laparoscopic colon surgery, certain surgical techniques are applied to give optimal results depending on the anatomy of the patient and the in-the-operating room patient positioning. Surgical procedures can be performed with significant variation. Nevertheless, in this chapter, the writers are attempting to describe the most preferred approaches based on their experience in every day practice. A compact, complete guide is provided to the full range of colorectal resections with emphasis on operative safety and best patient results.
