Abstract
Although it accounts only for 1% of male tumors, testicular cancer is the most common type of cancer in young men. It is one of the curable malignant tumors and has the highest survival rates even in the metastatic setting, and it can be successfully treated with surgery, radiotherapy, and/or chemotherapy. Painless testicular mass is the classic presentation of testicular cancer, but it can present also as a swelling or other symptoms related with metastatic disease. Early diagnosis is very important as well as an appropriate staging and treatment approach. As these patients are usually young at age and long survivors, it is also important to remind of the impact that each kind of treatment may have in their future quality of life.
